Hi Nanna Movie Review
‘Hi Nanna’ is a comprehensive cinematic experience, including all the essential elements for a flawless family drama. The film’s protagonists, Nani and Mrunal Thakur, alongside Kiara Khanna, delivered impeccable performances in their respective character portrayals. Additionally, this emotional journey marks another poignant film for natural Star Nani, following the success of Jersey. Meanwhile, Mrunal Thakur consistently showcases her selective script choices, perfectly embodying her character. She plays her role with perfection. This is her second Telugu film after the superhit Sita Ramam, in which she portrays Sita Mahalakshmi aka Princess Noor Jahan.
It’s also noteworthy that Hi Nanna signifies Mrunal’s first collaboration with Nani. Nevertheless, their on-screen chemistry in this romantic family drama has left audiences wanting for more. A special nod goes to Kiara Khanna for delivering her best as a child artist. Furthermore, the cinematography by Sanu Varghese stands out as a highlight. Hesham Abdul Wahab once again succeeds in showing exceptional musical compositions.
Newcomer Shouryuv adeptly navigates through emotional hurdles with finesse in the film. In addition to these poignant moments, a couple of unexpected turns contribute significantly to the storyline. The final moments of the movie stand out remarkably, leaving a lasting impact on the audience. However, a minor setback lies in occasional pacing issues that might intermittently affect the movie’s flow.
