The episode of Kundali Bhagya that airs today, January 2, 2024, begins with Inspector Sharma promising Kavya that he would conduct a comprehensive investigation. Surya confronts him for allowing Karan to see Shuarya outside the scheduled meeting hours as he will answer a ringing phone. Kavya is taken aback by Surya’s adamance in opposing Luthras receiving extra attention and enraged to see Kavya there; Surya orders Inspector Sharma to extend an invitation to all the Luthras and their attendants.

Mahesh Gets Scolded
However, when Mahesh runs out of petrol, he stops the car and receives a reprimand from Dadi and Rakhi. They eventually leave the car and go on foot until they are helped. Mahesh, Rakhi, Nidhi, and Dadi discover an auto on the street and decide to take it upon discovering the keys.
Kavya Confronts Surya
Kavya confronts Surya over her anger towards her family in the meantime. Surya threatens to suspend Inspector Sharma if she doesn’t leave right now.
Karan Mocks Preeta
In another scene, Preeta abruptly exits the automobile as she and Karan arrive at the workplace. When she doesn’t stop, Karan runs after him and draws her to him. After Preeta chastises him, Karan makes fun of her and claims he is only fascinated with her because she is so gorgeous. Unaware of being in a dangerous place, Preeta and Karan start teasing one another. After a while, when Karan treads on her Sari and shreds it like he has so many times, Preeta wants to flee in rage.
Karan and Preeta look at each other, noticing the hole in Preeta’s Sari, and Preeta sees a flashback of when he tore her dupattas. Mohit speculates that perhaps today will be when Preeta regains her memories. When the thugs arrive, Preeta furiously asks them to save her from Karan. But when Preeta saw the guns in their hands, she recognized her error and told Karan that she should go to the hospital.
