The August 20, 2023 episode of Bhagya Lakshmi opens with Malishka being upset with Rishi for calling for Lakshmi when he ought to think solely of her. She bemoans Rishi’s lack of enthusiasm about their wedding and his lack of expressions of love for her. Rishi feels trapped by the common concerns and is unsure how to handle them. He informs Malishka that he does not want to offend her but only poses a generic question as Lakshmi is getting dressed by this point and departs to freshen up. Malishka commits to succeed Lakshmi by performing flawlessly and acting morally upright.

Harleen Calls For Rishi
Lakshmi’s disappearance from the home is later noticed by the Oberoi family, who doubts where she might have gone. Harleen suddenly appears downstairs with a scared expression, calling for Rishi to come right away because of an issue.

In the opening scene of the upcoming episode, Harleen informs everybody that Lakshmi has left the home. Rishi then inquires as to where Lakshmi went so quickly. Rishi is shocked when Harleen reveals that Lakshmi has departed the house forever and will not be returning while holding Lakshmi’s letter in her hand. According to Harleen, Lakshmi might have done it since she knew they would stop her if she informed them.
Lakshmi responds that she did what she believed necessary when Shalu criticizes her for cutting her ties to Rishi’s family and leaving so suddenly.
Neelam returns to Rishi’s home and informs him that Lakshmi is not welcome to return in any circumstances and that she should go. Ayush reports to Rishi that Malishka’s actions or intentions may have caused Lakshmi to leave the house unexpectedly and secretly. Rishi warns Maliska. She will not be spared if it is discovered that she is the cause. Neelam is told that Rishi will not even pay attention to her since he is desperate to return Lakshmi.
