‘O Sajna,’ a new song by Neha Kakkar, is facing criticism from the singer Falguni Pathak. It is a remake of the Falguni song “Maine Payal Hai Chhankai” from 1999. Fans have been criticizing Neha for the remake, which fans of the original don’t seem to like. Following the release of “O Sajna,” Falguni highlighted comments attacking Neha and urging legal action against her. However, Falguni claimed in a recent interview that Neha is free from legal action because she has no control over the rights to the original music.

Additionally, neither T-Series nor anybody else asked her before the recreation was made public. She expressed her feelings of being touched and overjoyed at the outpouring of love for the song. She had to disclose their emotions as a result of this. Days after the debut of the brand-new song, Falguni had tweeted supportive remarks made by several admirers.

 

The Original And The Remake

Falguni made a name for herself in the 1990s with her traditional music-inspired compositions. Most of them are from the Indian state of Gujarat. She made her professional debut in 1997 and has since grown to be a well-known singer in India. People refer to her as the “Indian Madonna.” The sweetest puppet show is present in the song Maine Payal Hai Chhankai. It stars well-known TV actor Vivan Bhatena and centers on the rivalry at a college festival. 1999 saw the original song’s release.

Neha Kakkar sang the remake version of the song, which was recently out. It uses the original’s melody and hook line with a few extra lines. In addition to Neha, Priyank Sharma and Dhanashree Verma also appear in the video song. The song’s composer, Tanishk Bagchi, is popular for his recreations of classic Hindi hits.

Defending herself against the criticism, Neha had written on Instagram, “And for those who’re s unhappy seeing me happy and successful, I feel sorry for them. Bechaare… Plz, keep commenting. I won’t even delete them. Coz I know, and everybody knows what Neha Kakkar is!” In another post, she wrote, “If talking in such a manner, saying such bad things about me, abusing me.. makes them feel good and if they think it will ruin my day. Then I’m sorry to inform them that I’m too blessed to have bad days. This God’s child is always happy coz God himself is keeping me happy.”

Falguni Pathak has several hugely successful Indian pop singles to her name. Furthermore, it is still popular and admired throughout India.
