The Jhanak 26 December 2023 episode begins with Anirudh wishing Jhanak a happy birthday. However, she doesn’t appear pleased with the request because she has no well-wishers on earth. Since everyone is waiting for Anirudh to join in the celebration of Arshi’s birthday, she begs him to do so.

The Birthday Cake
When Anirudh visits Arshi, she queries why Jhanak was called late, but Anirudh remains silent. Before long, Anirudh and Arshi focus on the festivities, and Apu asks Jhanak to bring the cake. The elders, however, tell her to give Apu the cake later. However, Apu begins to complain, so Jhanak takes it back.
As Arshi begins dividing the cake, she delivers some to Dada and Badi Maa without remembering to save some for Jhanak. Later, Anirudh tries to share his cake with her, but Arshi stops him and gives her the half-eaten cake instead, reprimanding her for calling Rahul.
Since she didn’t give the phone number to anyone, Jhanak is forced to protest on her behalf when she is forbidden from holding the phone late at night. She then threatens not to hold the phone the next time. As a result, Arshi has to tell her once more that she needs to go to their house tomorrow. Jhanak, in the meantime, is annoyed that she is being pulled about without permission. As a result, she departs the party, and Arshi becomes enraged because she believes she has insulted her. Anirudh is concerned as Arshi waits for when Shristi can punish Jhanak.
Jhanak Feeds Apu
The following morning, while preparing the meal for the guests, Jhanak remembers her time spent in Kashmir, which makes her think about Urvashi with nostalgia. She is allowed to phone Badima because Badima recognizes her pain, and they quickly begin talking about Apu. Since Badima showered her with love when Apu arrived, she appeared to appreciate her.
When she gives Apu some food to try first because she wants to, Badima forbids her because no one has eaten it. But Jhanak, nonetheless, feeds Apu. This prompts Anirudh’s mother to arrive.
