Bollywood actor Rishi Kapoor who was admitted to H.N. Reliance Foundation Hospital in Mumbai due to chest infection and breathing problems is no more with us. He was battling leukemia for the last 2 years. Rishi Kapoor was cremated at the Chandanwadi crematorium on Thursday afternoon. Only close friends and family members attended the funeral due to lockdown. His daughter Riddhima Kapoor Sahni is in Delhi. There are no flights, trains are running due to lockdown. Riddhima Kapoor Sahni got permission by Delhi Police to travel via road to Mumbai. But the distance from Delhi to Mumbai is more than 1400 km. She would have taken more than 15 hours to reach Mumbai.
Riddhima Kapoor Sahni asked for permission to go via a charter plane, but unfortunately, she did not get the same. Because of this, she could not reach Mumbai at the time of her father’s funeral. Riddhima Kapoor Sahni penned down a heartfelt post for her father Rishi Kapoor. She wrote,
Papa I love you I will always love you – RIP my strongest warrior I will miss you everyday I will miss your FaceTime calls everyday! I wish I could be there to say goodbye to you ! Until we meet again papa I love you – your Mushk forever ❤️😢
